Car Status

Well, I almost didn't escape from the parking lot at work yesterday. I don't know if I could have stood being there for more than 8 hours. I got in my car, put the key in the ignition and when I turned it, nothing started. The engine didn't even make much of a noise other than a clicking sound.

And it wasn't the first time I heard this, but the 2nd turn of the key ususally would turn it on. So I turned it again and still nothing. Third time, still nothing. Fourth time, still nothing. And on and on till I lost count. Right when I started to feel distressed and work out scenarios in my head, I prayed and tried again. The 2nd time after that voila!! I was ready to go. So now, this morning, my Dad and I are going to take the car over to Pepboys to try to get it sorted out. I need my car to get to work. Pepboys is right next to a Fantastic Sam's, so I think I'll get my haircut too.

Designed with Design in Mind?

I was thinking of some stuff at work. I get a lot of time to think since I work outside. This is an analogy to humans.

Obviously Humans, give birth to Humans. But that can only have happend so many times. So what created the first Humans? Was it God who created us basicly as-is. Or is our existence based on random mutations and chance? And at what point during our "natural conception" did we be able to reproduce?

Basicly the analogy is this: Imagine you see a robot factory. Each robot is designed to build another robot of exact or similar specification to that which did the builidng. That's pretty much all it knows - instincts. So you have this factory where these robots keep creating other robots and furthering their population. How did that first robot come about? Who built it?

Did it get created by random hammering and soldering? Random programming and molding? How are we "instinctively" programmed to reproduce and are said to have been that way randomly and robots not? Besides our material, whats the difference?

The First of Not the Last

Well this blog is the first in hopefully a slew of blogabilities this website has given me. I'm 19 years old, I spend a lot of time on the internet. (Too much time if you ask anyone's real opinion). I like electronics, I like exploding things and I like buttons. So if you have an electronic exploding thing that is triggered by a button - I'm in! Right now I'm in a transition period from 1 semester to the other and I'm not liking it. Finals, essays, group presentations - GRR!!

Anywho, you can find me online here or at http://www.myspace.com/cyborgcommando. Also, I've been known to play any Counter-Strike game (CS 1.6, Condition Zero or CS: Source). Not to mention recently buying and installing the Star Wars Galaxies: Starter Kit for $20, althought they have it at Amazon for $15. I suggest you buy it, install it, download the update, create a character and join the Tempest galaxy. That is where I reside. I like the starter kit because they give you a free Landspeeder, a free Starship, and they give you the chance to start up and gain levels at a spacestation. I used to play the game when it first came out and lemme tell you, there are massive differences from here compared to what used to be. It sucked running from Mos Eisley to Bestine just to die by a random aggro Tusken Raider. GRR MORE!!!
